Located on the seafront in the small Cornish village of Mawgan Porth, the Merrymoor offers a perfect beachside getaway. With plenty of parking available, it's just a short walk across the road to the beautiful beach. the rooms are clean and airy, providing a comfortable stay, while the breakfast choices are plentiful and served with a smile. Guests can also enjoy good evening meals in the restaurant. Plus, the hotel offers extras like a conservatory with breathtaking views of the sea, making it an ideal spot to relax and unwind.

We really enjoyed our time at this place, especially the great location and tasty drinks they served; it was also very convenient that the parking was located close to the inn, and we were pleasantly surprised by the nearby Mawgan Porth Cafe where we could grab a refreshing cup of tea or coffee.

The location of this hotel is absolutely fantastic. Being right on the beach and close to the sea, we were able to enjoy the breathtaking views and relax to the sound of the waves. It was like having a private paradise right on our doorstep.

    Very good

The hotel had a great location, just a short walk from the beach, and a big car park which was convenient. The staff were quick to serve drinks and were accommodating in allowing us to push tables together for our large group. The food was good, with tasty options like grilled plaice and fish finger sandwiches.

The organization of the evening meal was lacking. There were tables reserved for 2, making it difficult for our group of 15 to sit together.

The hotel's restaurant had a good range of dishes to choose from, and the prices were reasonable. the portions were also of a decent size. the hotel is located near the beach, which was a plus for us. We also appreciated the fact that the staff were friendly and helpful.

Our experience during our New Year's stay at the hotel was marred by the noise from other guests. We were kept up late into the night by loud music and shouting coming from the room next door.
